Herfty Muzyamba brings over a decade of extensive local and international experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry, specializing in both broking and underwriting. His professional career began as a Marketing Executive at Goldman Insurance Limited, followed by a position as an Underwriter at General Alliance Insurance Zambia Limited, a multinational corporation. In 2014, he joined Aon Zambia Limited, one of the world’s largest broking firms, and presently operating as Minet Zambia Insurance Brokers Limited were served in the position of a Broker.

His career also encompasses a tenure at Professional Insurance Corporation Zambia Plc., Zambia’s largest insurance company, where he served as Manager – Corporate & Intermediary Unit. In this role, he assumed responsibility of overseeing the company’s prestigious corporate clients and brokers. In his previous reinsurance life, he held the position of Underwriting Manager and later rose through the ranks to the position of Head of Underwriting overseeing clients across Africa, Asia & Middle East and Central & Southern America.

Herfty holds a Bachelor of Science in Pensions & Insurance Management from the University of Lusaka, a National Diploma in Insurance from Zambia Insurance Business College and obtained a certificate in Customer Care Management and is Associate member of the Insurers Institute of Zambia (IIZA).
