Susan brings over 30 years of extensive experience across business analysis, finance, accounting, audit, governance, risk management, and general management. Armed with a Bachelor of Accountancy from Copperbelt University and an MBA from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh Business School, she holds certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor and is a Fellow of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).

Beginning her career at Deloitte & Touche, Susan ascended to the position of Senior Audit Manager, overseeing audits of international funded projects. Her outstanding contributions were recognised with the prestigious ‘Accountant of the Year 2014, Private Sector’ award by ZICA and the Institute of Directors of Zambia.

Susan has held pivotal executive roles, including Chief Financial Officer at CIDRZ, where she managed accounting and ensured compliance with over 25 US Government and private funder grants. As Director Internal Audit at Zambia Revenue Authority, she reported directly to the Audit Committee of the Board and the Commissioner General on internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.

Her leadership extends to various directorships, encompassing Ecobank Zambia Limited, Professional Insurance Corporation Zambia PLC, Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation, and more. In addition to chairing the board of Finsbury Re, Susan currently serves on the boards of Puma Energy Zambia Plc, RTSA Zambia, and ZICTA, contributing her wealth of expertise to diverse sectors.
