Manondo Chaponda is a seasoned insurance and reinsurance professional with extensive experience in underwriting, reinsurance management, system reporting, and operational excellence. He brings a strong track record in treaty and facultative underwriting, technical reinsurance accounting, risk analysis, portfolio management, and broker relationship management across both insurance and reinsurance markets.

His career includes progressive underwriting leadership roles, where he advanced from treaty underwriting into facultative underwriting, taking on increased responsibility for risk assessment, pricing, placement strategies, and underwriting operations across multiple lines of business.

Before joining Fin Re, Manondo held senior roles at Professional Insurance Corporation Zambia PLC and Hollard Insurance, where he developed deep expertise in reinsurance strategy, corporate underwriting, intermediary management, and technical underwriting.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Zambia Catholic University and is currently progressing toward his Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) professional qualifications.
