Linda Kalaluka is a Chartered Accountant (ACCA) and a member of ZICA with 7 years’ experience in the field of auditing and insurance regulation. Her career started at Deloitte Zambia, one of the big four (4) firms, where she worked in external audit and was exposed to a diverse clientele including insurance and reinsurance companies before joining the Pensions and Insurance Authority as a Financial Analyst/Inspector- Prudential Supervision. In this role, she examined financial statements for insurance and reinsurance companies, assessed compliance with relevant laws and regulations and was equally involved in the process of drafting (re)insurance regulations and industry guidelines on Corporate Governance. 

Overall, Linda has gained practical experience in risk management, compliance and evaluating internal and operational control procedures. Furthermore, in order to have an in-depth appreciation of the reinsurance industry, in March 2024, Linda obtained a professional certification in reinsurance under the Young Insurance Professionals Program (YIPP) by Africa Re and the London School of Insurance and is positioned to make significant contributions in the risk management function.

Linda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the Copperbelt University and is currently enrolled into the University of London where she is pursuing her MSc in Professional Accountancy.
