Hosea Chilembo is a highly skilled insurance and risk management professional with over nine years of extensive experience in claims investigations, claims handling, insurance underwriting and insurance risk assessments for underwriting scrutiny.

His journey began in 2016 at Bluelight Risk Services Zambia Limited, where he gained hands-on exposure to loss adjusting and risk management. He later honed his expertise at Loss Management Consultancy International Zambia (LMCI), where he was involved in high-value claims adjusting and risk surveying for major clients across industries such as mining, manufacturing and construction in Southern, Eastern and Central Africa.

Prior to joining Finsbury Reinsurance, Hosea worked at Professional Insurance Corporation Zambia PLC, where he was actively involved in an advisory role of reviewing insurance claims across the claims department for fire, marine, engineering, and miscellaneous accident policies. His active involvement in claims investigations and risk management surveys contributed greatly to efficient claims settlements and improved underwriting decisions.

Academically, holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Zambia. He also holds a certificate of insurance with the Chartered Insurance Institute in addition to other certifications in risk management, insurance and customer service management. Hosea is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Risk Management at the University of Lusaka.
