David is a seasoned lawyer with over 13 years of experience, currently serving as a Partner at Mulenga Mundashi Legal Practitioners since 2016. Prior to this, he was with Corpus Legal Practitioners. Holding a Bachelor of Laws Degree with Merit from the University of Zambia, David also possesses an Advanced Diploma in Legislative Drafting from the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education.

Additionally, he is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration and holds certificates in Public Private Partnerships and Infrastructure Financing from Regal Exchange, UK, Capital Markets and Investment Advisory from the Zambia Institute of Business College Trust (ZIBCT), and Intellectual Property from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Geneva.

Throughout his career, David has excelled in various legal realms, particularly in capital markets, overseeing significant transactions such as the sale of BP Africa’s 75% shareholding to Puma Energy. He played a crucial role in restructuring China Non-Ferrous Metals Companies in Zambia, aiming for potential listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. David has provided legal support to international companies like Vale, Rio Tinto, Accenture, and Anglo American in setting up subsidiaries in Zambia.

With expertise in international arbitration and corporate litigation, David has handled cases under the International Court of Arbitration and Zambia’s judicial system, covering diverse areas including Company Law, Commercial Law, Tax Law, Mining Law, and more.

His vast experience and specialized knowledge make him a valuable asset in various legal domains.
